Since mid-November, CombiBreed, in collaboration with the Vereniging Het Nederlandse Kooikerhondje (Dutch Kooikerhondje Association) and Utrecht University, offers a CombiBreed package for the Kooikerhondje. This package includes DNA tests for Von Willebrand’s Disease, ENM (Hereditary Necrotizing Myelopathy), and PM (Polymyositis). The inbreeding coefficient (COI) and heterozygosity are also calculated. In addition, the F2B SNPs are typed and automatically shared with Fit2Breed. This way, the health of the breed can be further improved.
