Food DNA tests

A range of DNA tests are accessible for discerning the presence of specific animal species in food. Each requested species undergoes a dedicated DNA test. Available tests encompass the species horse, pig, cattle, chicken, turkey, sheep, and goat.
Depending on the test objective, either surface sampling or centre sampling can be conducted.

The test outcomes reveal the relative percentage of the targeted animal species. However, it is not feasible to specify the mass percentage of the requested animal species. The method relies on a kit validated by the supplier to operate at a detection limit of 0.01%.
